Senior Team - Head Coach

Founded in 2012, Mavericks RFC is a dynamic and ambitious rugby club based in Essex, known for its strong community spirit and competitive edge.

The club has grown steadily over the past decade, fielding a committed senior team and participating in international tours, including the Dubai 7s and regular trips to Magalluf.

Mavericks RFC currently competes in Counties 1 Essex, a level 7 league in the English rugby union system, featuring clubs from across Essex and Greater London 

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Coach to lead our senior squad. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for player development, tactical innovation, and team culture. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training sessions, managing matchday strategy, and working closely with club leadership to drive performance and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all senior team coaching activities, including training sessions and matchdays
• Develop and implement a season-long coaching plan aligned with club goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
• Collaborate with club captains, physios, and committee members
• Support player development across all levels, including transition from junior to senior rugby

Relevant coaching experience in a simialr league is beneficial
